Symmes - Mary Dunn

Mrs. Mary D. Symmes died Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock, at the home of her son, Sam D. Symmes, 611 south Washington street. She was born in this city on August 27, 1828, and was the daughter of Nathaniel Dunn, deceased. She had been feeble for several days, but nothing serious was expected until Monday when she had a slight attack of apoplexy. Death resulted from blood poisoning and general weakness of the heart. Funeral was private and took place at the house Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E.B. Thompson. - thanks to Kim H
